RIAA Seeks Summary Judgement Against P2P Services

kanad writes: "RIAA seeks summary judgement against Musiccity , Kazaa and Grokster. In other words they want the above to be banned even before the trial. RIAA accuses them as Napster clones. Read the official statement here BTW does anybody knows of 'Leonard Kleinrock' described as "one of the original founders of the Internet" in the article and an expert witness ?" I wonder whether the mimeograph machine would survive if it was invented today.

These bad decisions are being carried out by real people. REal people are deciding that the power of the companies that employ them is worth more than the rights of individuals, including themselves. If we start attacking the people behind these corporations, they'll remember that they are infact hurting themselves.

I say we kill a few high profile individuals. The others will realize that the american people won't stand for having thier rights eroded. Not from commies, not from nazis and not from Sony or Disney.

There's a handful of people who need to die a bloody horrid death. The rest will shape up overnight.
To us, liberty is more important than life.
To them, profits are more important than liberty.
I'm willing to bet that they value life more than even profits. I'm willing to bet their lives, as well as my own.
