Where Can You Find Rare Electronic Parts?

Famos Amos asks: "I recently blew a fuse on an old Phase Linear 400 stereo amplifier, and have since been on a journey around NY state and the web looking for an AGX-style fuse (8amps, 125v or 250v, 1"X1/4" cylinder style). I've been turned away by stereo repair specialty stores, online electronics warehouses, and Radioshack among others. I was wondering if anyone in the Slashdot community knew where I could obtain such an unusual item?" According to this document, AGX-type fuses are direcctly interchangable with 8AG-type fuses.
