US .gov WHOIS Info Restricted Over Attacker Fears
An anonymous reader writes "VeriSign Inc has stopped providing access to information about the .gov internet domain, which is restricted to US government bodies, over concerns the data could be used in planning internet attacks."
The worst terrorist attack in recorded history occurred over a year ago, followed by a Holy War against Islam, and now Israel and the Palestinians as well as India and Pakistan are teetering on the brink of their own war, Argentina is in the midst of a financial crisis, America is considering launching attacks against Somalia and Iraq, and you people have the gall to be discussing Verisign and .gov domains???? Yep, but at least I'm not an anonymous idiot
Be proud of your idiotness!

I find the governments arguement less than compelling.
Freedom is merely privilege extended unless enjoyed by one and all.
