Boston's Big Dig Delayed Because of Programmers?
dalewj writes "This article in the
Boston Globe explains that Boston's Big Dig will be ready to open on time, if the software developers and cable layers can get their act together." Turns out honeywell's software isn't quite ready.

If you have the +2 modifier and you still feel you have to troll (losing 3 karma's in the proccess) at least put in a link to goatse.cx, maybe the +2 will fool some people into going there, come on!
A new bill to save Internet radio, HR5469, will be voted on Tuesday, October 1, by the House of Representatives. Please send a fax to Congress to get your Representative to vote for it! This will give Internet Radio another six months for discussions between copyright owners and webcasters.
Moderators, if you care about the survival of cutting edge technology like Internet Radio, do not mod this down! Mod it up instead. Thank you. (I have submitted it to Slashdot as a story but it looks like the editors don't like these kind of stories).

I work there. We had a massive problem with a flood of penis bird, but we'll fix it soon. Shotguns weren't effective enough, but we'll switch to poisened dildos a.s.a.p., which should solve this problem.
tell your lazy hack friends congratulations on sucking billions of tax dollars off so they could sit on their asses.
I just heard some sad news on talk radio - Horror/Sci Fi writer Stephen King was found dead in his Maine home this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Slashdot community will miss him - even if you didn't enjoy his work, there's no denying his contributions to popular culture. Truly an American icon.
Too crowded.
Too rude.
Too small.
Too busy.
Too dirty.
Too much traffic.
It's like a giant rat's nest!
We've got two twenty-game-winning pitchers (and a few other really good ones on top of that), at least two of the best batters in the majors, a front office that now actually gives a shit since the team was sold, and the Sox are still out of the playoffs. There ain't enough talent in the world to get this team past friggin' July, never mind to the pennant. /Brian
