Halloween Costumes for 2002?

sukottoX asks: "The creepy yet fun holiday of Halloween is just a few weeks away. I'm wondering what sorts of costumes the Slashdot community is planning to wear to this year's Halloween parties (or to trick-or-treating for the younger readers). Looks like this year's big movies, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Harry Potter are gonna be pretty popular. I went as Nick Burns last year (MOVE!). Anyone have some good suggestions?"

I was brainstorming with my son about possible costumes when I came up with this:

    Needed:
    1. an old business suit
    2. various office supplies: Rolodex, calender, phone, pens, etc.
    3. Wire
    4. Two foot long pieces of cardboard shaped like a capital H, painted silver and also red on one end.
    5. Stuff to make your hair stand up.
    6. Glue

Put on the suit. Using the wire, attach the office supplies to one end and then using the wire attach the items to you at various places so that they float around you.

Glue the H's to your front and back so that it appears that they are going through you. Add some red coloring for where they attach to your body. Slick up your hair so that it's standing on end.

Finally, waive your arms around and look scared.

Presto! You are someone falling from the World Trade Center.

I will rot in hell for this idea, and I am so so sorry for thinking of it and would never ever do it. Please forgive me. Anyone who takes this idea deserves the scorn and abuse that the general public will rightly inflict apon them.

Imagine the surprise when someone says "trick or treat" and you say trick and bend over and show them your large loose cornhole. I cannot think of a better costume!
