Alternative Art Media?

Anonymous Reader asks: "I'm writing an article on how creative uses of previously unexploited media are changing the way we think about art. My current examples include Telesymphony, Blinkenlights, and the KTH lasershow. Do Slashdotters know of any other projects that should find their place in my list?"

    Check out the demoscene. Not really previously unexploited media so much as using an existing and well known medium in an interesting way.
