More on Underwater Gliders

ianjk writes "Abcnews.com is reporting on two underwater gliders developed by the University of Washington and Webb Research. Both use very little energy and have quite long ranges (thousands of kilometers). Of course, the US Navy is showing quite an interest in the project." We mentioned these earlier.

I was just thinking about ninjas today. I saw this underwater glider story and thought, "I will post about ninjas in this story."

And then, what do I see? I see you, posting at -1.

I don't know whether to say that I love you or despise you. But whatever my feelings, I am glad that ninjas have been mentioned today.

Now stretch your brain a few tiny extra steps. Who would you blame for a troll like this? The troll? Or the moderators who mod stuff up that "sounds smart"? The answer is clear.

And what famous system allows these stupid moderators to keep modding? The Slashdot Moderation System!

OK, now for the ultra-super bonus question: Who created that system?

If you don't like the Slashdot is run, complain.
