New "Secure" Xbox Cracked In Under A Week
ilsie writes "Numbnut says it all in his post at xboxhacker.net. To quote his post, 'On behalf of the Xbox Linux Team, I am proud to announce that at 10:45BST the 'v1.1' secure version of the Xbox was proven to be running arbitrary BIOS code in a normal 256KByte modchip - with no additional hardware required. In short, in under a week we were able to normalize the new box to enable it to interoperate with Linux properly.'"
DONT USE REDHAT!
g
Don't support companies that is willing to sell out freedom and democracy for dollars like Redhat.
Redhat removed Taiwans flag and status as independant in latest Redhat 8.0 to please the totalitarian dictatorship in China against the democracy of Taiwan.
Even microsoft lists Taiwan in their Country-list despite objections from the Chinese government.
Even Microsoft is defending freedom, Redhat is not.
Please, chose another distributions, there is a lots of good distributions. You don't have to use Redhat and shouldn't if you care about freedom and democracy.
Even if the UN officially don't regognise Taiwan as a independant country because of the risk of war, most democratic nations clearly view Taiwan as a independant democratic nation. They have their own Flag and elected government.
->RPM spec file "kdebase.spec".
Line 558:
# remove taiwanese flag
%if %{redhatify}
rm -f $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{_datadir}/locale/l10n/tw/flag.pn
%endif
Line 735:
Mon Aug 5 2002 Than Ngo than@redhat.com 3.0.2-7.2
- add patch file to fix kicker segfault (bug #69688)
- get rid of Taiwanese Flag in KDE (bug #70235)
Line 830:

- Add fixes from KDE_3_0_BRANCH, except for the "F1 in konsole" change

- Move in Red Hat splash screen
Red Hat customer support has this to say:
"As a global company Red Hat must be sensitive to political differences that impact the markets it serves. One of those markets is Mainland China, where the inclusion of the Taiwanese flag would have prevented the introduction of Red Hat Linux 8.0."
This nonsense is still going on?? Some of you guys really see this as a battle between a horrible Microsoft empire and a group of shifty but likable hackers, don't you? Fucking tools.
While y'all are breathing hard and spending your precious life hacking some dumb TOY, Microsoft isn't even breaking a sweat. Why the fuck should Microsoft care? You still need to buy and install a mod chip before any of this work is useful, which means that this work is not useful for 95% of the people.
If you are so smart and have so much time on your hands, if you got something to prove, if you are looking for something that is not just impressive and fun but also USEFUL, then write a PROPER import filter for MS Word files, or help the MPlayer team figure out the fucked-up WMP9 video format!
But STOP WASTING your time "sticking it to Microsoft". They aren't even looking.
Fuck this kind of overhyped bullshit riles me.
I love Lindsay too, after our all night kinky sex session last night. She let me ram my cock into her ass, and spill my goo all over her face.
You just want to do it to get at Microsoft in your own tiny, pathetic way.
You're no better than a filthy palestinian, impotently throwing rocks at the rightful owners of the land.
