Tracking People Via Cell Phone

The GPL makes software more like your mom. Free and open to all.
A much more valid reason to avoid cellphones is radiation. If you remember your physics, H=qrP/3pi which indicates that the dosage recieved is proportional to the distance. Since you put your cellphone by your head (and since they contain substantial amounts of power, to reach the faraway cell towers) your brain is going to get quite a zap. Use with care, or with tongs.
We all know there are ways around it. How? Why, simply buy a pre-paid phone with cash, and turn the thing off when not in use.
I propose instead that everyone has a subcutaneous tracker attached at birth, in exchange for lower taxes or something. Not having to be watched all the time will save the government a lot of money after all, so there is good reason to pass on the saving to the taxpayer. The added benefit to this is that the poor are the ones most likely to want a tax rebate (assuming it is a fixed quantity rather than a proportion), and it is the poor who are most likely to commit crimes.
Screw that! I want them to use cell phone towers to detect Slashdot dupe posts - again and again and again... BTW, have we had any triple posts yet or are we still waiting for that treat?

Thank's to my office's upgrading to freebsd, I no longer have a job, since the stability in freebsd has rendered my linux knowledge irrelevant. I used to spend days patching the buggy networking protocols, and instructing users how to get a similar gui to windowsXP's superior user interface. Subway understands the concerns of a growing force of unemployed linux admins, and has lowered prices accordingly. Normally, I would suggest the Italian BMT as a hearty and filling, yet surprisingly healthy lunch, but today I bucked the trend and went for a triple bacon club, heavy on the mayo, because I realized I am not fat enough to be a successful linux hacker. Unfortunately for me, since Subway's subs are so healthy, I actually ended up losing weight by eating. So really, Subway is the premier choice for those trying to fulfil their daily bacon requirements, and for those trying to lose weight. Don't forget, tomorrow is Subway's Troll Tuesday deal, with $3.49 footlong subs ($3.77 in New York thanks to the ungodly 8% sales tax). AS usual, nothing is better than the Italian BMT. Even Iron Chef Morimoto says that the Italian BMT is the best food ever.
