Rogue and Tetris ported to . . . . . Diablo II?!?!

At first this news made perfect sense - a port to a golden oldie - oh good, should be fun to recall some older computer stuff. The Diablo was a rather nice shared printer we had that was based on an IBM Selectric, complete with type-ball. Sort of noisy, and you had to make sure the pile of pin-fed paper had a free path or the little holes would rip. If you wanted 8.5x11 you had to feed each sheet by hand. Ours was shared via 4 conductor serial(!) wires strung from each computer to a series of black box switchboxes. That was in the later days. Prior to that it was great for printing out cave maps to assist in playing D&Dragons on your Teleray terminal wired to a PDP(or early vax?) running the first or so compile of that game. I gather that Diablo II was not a newer version of this printer.
ps. anyone else remember this printer?

Never mind the Tetris mark, watch out for Blizzard/Vivendi who HATE anything that makes their game more fun for people.

Don't forget the pong game on Commander Keen's wristwatch. I can't say I played it much while I was trying to rescue the babysitter, but it definitely impressed me at the time.

That rather than design aircraft to be resistant to things (interference, via proper shielding; terrorism, via a separate cockpit cabin), people feel the need to legislate problems away.

I doubt that cell phones interfere with planes. In fact, many pilots will use them on planes (mainly smaller ones) as a replacement for their radio if they break.

This doesn't even touch on how unhappy airline staff are to see a PalmPilot turned on (which emits the same RF as my digital camera that they don't care about).
