haligan writes "Bell Labs research arm announced the development of two prototype chips that would allow mobile devices to receive more than 19 megabits of data per second on 3G networks." Power consumption is low enough for cel phone type applications.

    My theory is that they signed up with another account and noticed that they got #444441 or something, and then just kept signing up. However, as usernames are unique and any one username might be the one that got 44444... I'd suspect that there would be a bunch of usernames with various lengths of '4', which there aren't.
