Tackling AGP 8X

EconolineCrush writes "AGP 8X is popping up in new chipsets and motherboards, and graphics cards are also starting to support the standard, but is there a major performance advantage over the older AGP 4X spec? According to this review of NVIDIA's latest AGP 8X-enable graphics products, no. The review also covers some of AGP 8X's new functionality, which includes support for multiple AGP ports with multiple AGP devices per port. Whether future games and applications take advantage of AGP 8X's extra bandwidth remains to be seen, but more interesting should be what companies do with multiple AGP devices and ports."

I'm 6'1" with size 14 US shoe. Despite my best efforts, I still can't dunk a basketball at 10 feet. I've been weight training twice a week and doing jumping exercises twice a week as well. What can I do so I can dunk a basketball? Yes, before you ask I'm white lol.

The extra muscle mass you are hefting is weighing you down.

If you notice that all the great basketball players who have spectacular dunks have legs like matchsticks. The African phenotype can essentially be described as long, lean, and light. Your European blood is going to hold you back because you are likely stocky and heavy despite your height.

      Leaping squats.

Don't know what you mean by jumping exercises, but try this: Barbell with moderate amount of weight, put it across your shoulders as you do when you do squats, then do a squat. When you come up, jump. Land and immediately go back to a squat position. Jump again.

Figure out what's the correct amount of weight for yourself. 10 to 15 reps. 2 minute rest. Try to do 5 sets.

Just like when you try to increase pull-ups - you do pull-ups with weights attached to you. In this case, you jump with more weight attached. Also, try to lose weight. Upper body strength doesn't do much for you here either, and muscle weighs a lot. Depending on how badly you want to dunk, you could stop exercising your upper body and just concentrate on your lower.
