Asynchronous Logic: Ready For It?

Now Bernard Cole from Embedded.com tells us that asynchronous logic might receive more acceptance than expected in modern designs. The main advantages, as article states, are 'reduced power consumption, reduced current peaks, and reduced electromagnetic emission', to quote a prominent researcher from Philips Semiconductors. Earlier Bernard Cole wrote a column on self-timed asynchronous logic."

    Stephan Hawking, found dead at 60

    Noted comsmologist and gansta rapper Stephan "M.C." Hawking was found dead in his Cambridge crib early this morning, the apparent victim of a drive by function collapse. You may not have understood "A Brief History of Time", but there is no denying his impact upon the British gangsta rap scene. Truly an English icon, he will be missed.
