QuickTime 6.0.2 Released

Hungus writes "QuickTime 6.0.2 is now released from Apple and is available either via web download or via Software Update." I'd seen word that it was available earlier, but it wasn't available for me via Software Update until today. Software Update reports that this release "provides performance and reliability enhancements."

And these stability improvements are enough to warrant a front page announcement for a .0.2 release?

I know rob, hemos et al. are tiBook droolers, constantly humping S.J's leg in order to get one for free, but I can hardly see chances increasing by posting utter boringness like this

If you're such an i-entologist, I suggest you post every change in apple hotnews and apple PR

Come to think of it... they almost do so...

Sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology. -- Terry Pratchett

Actually Arthur C Clarke said that before Pratchett. I think it would be more Pratchett to say Sufficiently blatent plagerism is indistinguishable from original work

    - Well that's the only explanation I can come up with for Pratchetts "work" - he must believe nobody reads anything he copies.

I completly despise quicktime. It is just horrible proprietary software that imbeds itself deeply into your registry so that there is no way for the average PC user to be rid of it.. While your at it just go download Bonzi Buddy.
