Welcome to the new Cluster

We're up and running on the new cluster at Exodus West. The hardware configuration is almost identical to what we had on the east coast, just a few time zones over. No doubt we'll be working out a few kinks over the next few days, so hang in there. Now that that's over with, please continue swimming naked.

    As I noted on the old site, intelligent people change the DNS TTL BEFORE they move their server to a new IP address.

    At 7:58, the old IP had a TTL of 86400.
    At 8:01, the new IP had a TTL of 3600.

    You fuckwits seriously need a clue.

    By the way, it's good that all your URLs are absolute rather than relative. This gives those of us who update our hosts file a monstrous advantage when it comes to first posts, which this may or not be, since the server just went down like a bar slut. (And since I forgot that you guys filter out ICMP messages and was sitting there watching a ping fail)
