Boston TV Signals Disrupting Police Radio in NJ
jeffy124 writes "WCVB, a digital TV station in Boston, is disrupting police radio communications in South Jersey. It seems that under certain weather conditions, the signal reaches here travels 270 miles (it's normally 50) and blacks out the police frequencies, making communication between officers and from 911 call centers impossible. The article seems to suggest that as more TV stations go digital, more small-town police radio will be affected, as the digital signal is significantly stronger than analog. Insert Joisey-joke here."

feels so gooood.
ok time for bed.
It won't woooooork!
the FBI has reported that there is a 3rd sniper still on the loose. take a look at this picture, and please report to your local authorities if you have seen this man.
Thank you.
If you're from NJ stand up to the relentless jokes!
Reply to this and say "I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!"
Don't be afraid fellows NJ locals, the System (aka Man, aka Moderators)
will try to mod you down to troll (see this.)
but if enough of us speak, our CRY WILL BE HEARD!
See, it is funny. First off, I'm slim, I'm a runner. Secondly, I'm not from New Jersey. Thus, I can make fun of everyone.
Except for faggots.
Hey slim, when you run do you have shit running down your legs from pummelling your intestines? It's pretty common for runners.
but you didn't say anything about being a computer programmer, so your post, like mine, means nothing.
Excuse me, everyone knows Manattan is only there to support Brooklyn and Queens. And NJ is only there to support Manhattan anyway.
ps: i'm exit 8 :P
But you do like a dick in your ass.
Why did the chicken cross the turnpike?
To go down the shore for a grinder.
He didn't specify funny Joisy joke . . .
Wow, taste this Wonder bread! They use bleached flour so there's ABSOLUTELY NO character or distinguishing flavor. Forget those whole wheat or rye breads...use WONDER! Who wants their bread to taste unique? Not me! I want to show some pride in my loaf!

ooh sorry... not everyone goes to seaside... thats a myth. Wildwood is also popular.
#56 is soo true. I actually know what town Springsteen is from, where his kids go to school/summer camp, as well as knowing where Jon Bongiovi is from (and where his dad plays golf).
#55 is very true
#49 is true, but the Turnpike freaks me out at all times
#42... wow.. how did he know that...
#38 NYC would be better if there were no New Yorkers. And whats with those bennies clogging up all of our roads in the summer...
#32 Claridge.. less likely to get carded, although security is pretty lax all around.
#30 And I leave it there until it stops getting worse, why pay all that $ to wash it.
#27 I'd still go to the University...
#26 Not from my current town, but from the town I used to live in. Springsteen has a solid view nowadays..
#25 it isn't, and my town doesn't have an exit..
#21 I DRIVE A TRUCK
#17.. and Red Bank
#10 ROFLMAO
#7 thanks to the good people at dodge...
#4 they sell gas now too... its actually pretty good..
and
#1 still true, and i go to school in Massachussetts (not a reccommended state)
and those dregs from Staten Island are the only ones that say 'Joisey'. Nobody *from* Jersey calls it that. (Though you can find NYC migrants that will) I wasted 20 years of my life in the shit hole. I know. Christ, you'd think wide spread viewing of the the Sopranos would have killed this misconception by now.
you gotta get yourself unhooked from that chair first... and with that spare tire you carry around, it make take a minute or two
Bruce Springstein: who is talkin' mean about Joisey?
