It lies outside the ken of most Slashdotters, but Bill and Melinda Gates have donated millions upon millions of dollars to third world charities devoted to killing brown children, err, I mean reproductive and sexual health. This reminds me when last week, a bunch of you stupid little fucks said the exact same thing in the exact same zealous way. Your operating system is not ready for the big time. Gnome and KDE are not polished GUIs. I've yet to find a theme which was good looking and well-designed. A little of either, but never both.
There is a dark side to this trend that has not been touched upon much. It is that "national / local" linux distributions can be used to install censorware and spyware. As "National Software", this can be required by law!
