Buggy Bugging Backfires On German Police

Alethes writes "The BBC is reporting that German police have been caught bugging cellphones at the expense of criminal suspects who found a unknown and inaccessible voicemail number listed on their bills that was being used to record calls. Telecommunications authorities said that nearly 20,000 lines were currently being tapped."

    at lucnch we went to the mall and we went into fye after eating to look at cds and there was this guy at the listening station and he was like rapping to rap music really loud and saying all kinds of rap things and me and my friend were like "hey can we have some crack too" and he didnt hear us because of the loud rap music on the headphones he was listening too !

    I just heard some sad news on talk radio - Horror/Sci-Fi writer Stephen King was found dead at his Maine residence this morning. Apparently, Mr. King was changing the oil in his 1986 Buick Riviera when the wheel ramps that he was using collapsed, crushing him under the car. A lit gas lantern then tipped over, which caused the garage to catch fire and the car to eventually explode. I'm sure he will be missed by the Slashdot community - even if you didn't enjoy his work, his line of cosmetic products made a whole generation of pre-teen girls feel better about themselves. Truly an American icon.

    Where the hell are you getting this? One of Mohammed Atta's possible places of residnece was Hamburg, Germany. But so was florida. In fact, Florida was one for Waleed Alshehri, Wail Alshehri and Abdulaziz Alomari. Who *all* happened to be on AA #11 Boeing 767.
