Sounds like a nice way to watch movies. How about we throw all the lame video game reviews and "tenchi muyo goes to teh carwash" and the rest of the lame anime posts and we throw those all into a nice neat little 1 topic thing like this. Because does a small excerpt with some bullshit from some asshole and a link to a review really justify an entire post?

Think about it, slashdot already wastes enough of the internets resources.

I mean I personally come here 5 times a day, and I'm sure there are people who come here more, if not leave less.

But anyways I will go put on my dunce cap and read some HOWTOs.

How about we just boycott all International websites while we're at it? If they're not running in the US they're obviously trying to hide something. Even if the people don't live here they should still put their servers on our soil so that we have a nice geographical location to send the smart bombs. The range isn't quite to the point of an trans-Atlantic flight so if they'll kindly move their machines over to, let's say, Wisconsin, we can start sending over some volleys.

Down with spyware!

Okay, so I realize that Slashback is the place to follow up on stories, but what's the follow-up on the Tivo story? How is this any different from the last story posted on this topic? Okay, so there's a press release now, but in typical press release fashion it doesn't tell us anything more than we already knew.

If the editors can't keep from reposting stories even in Slashback, they have real problems.
