Douglas Adams Written Dr. Who Episode Goes Into Production

oddsheep writes "The BBC have announced they will be showing a new version of an episode originally written by Douglas Adams and that was never shown after industrial action halted the original production in 1979." "Shada" will star Paul McGann as the Doctor.

    He was a hack. His comedy, if you can call it that, fails miserably for all except the "Jackass" crowd. Making an episode from something he penned is a travesty to the great history of Dr. Who!

    Please don't tell me there's a Christopher Tolkien type offspring who will be foisting fake Douglas Adams books off on the public for years to come.

    I think that I'm pretty much decided that this sort of decadent western junk will not be shown here in China. Fortunately, since we have effectively blocked the worldwide global interweb from our ordinary citizens, they wont know a thing about this.
