    FreeBSD publicity stunt. Who the hell runs FreeBSD these days anyway?

    They should do it for Linux proper, there's no way FreeBSD with Linux ABI is 100% compatible with Linux binaries, especially if they are fiddled to get small.

    Come on, Slashdot, you're a Linux 'blog, don't post these silly FreeBSD stories masquerading as 'challenges'!

      Slashdot is NOT just about linux. Slashdot often posts apple stories and FreeBSD stories because the editors (and CmdrTaco) find both interesting.

      Slashdot used to run on a FreeBSD server too, as well as Linux. CmdrTaco IS interested in FreeBSD.

      So if you don't like it, why don't you fuck off and crawl into your fucking corner and make your own fucking linuxslash.org site or whatever the fuck you wanna call it.
