Spielberg's Taken

A few people submitted asking for an open discussion for Spielberg's Taken miniseries that premiered last night on SciFi last night. I watched it, and I gotta say I dug it, and set Tivo up to snag the rest of it. I wish that they were spacing it out a bit more (in terms of scheduling, not in terms of leaving the Earth's atmosphere ;) What do folks think?

What's your problem? I'm just sitting here, coding and drinking a cold refreshing Dr. Pepper, and your phat $1000 stereo setup encased by $500 of the world's rustiest metal rolls down the street. Would it kill you to turn that shit down? I wouldn't be impressed even if you were playing something good, but I've got news for you: ICP at high decibels will not transform a 115 pound white kid into a thug any more than that stupid ass basketball jersey and backwards baseball cap you call your gear. All it's doing is stripping bark from the trees, deafening anyone unfortunate enough to be in the city at the time, and, if we're lucky, making you sterile.
While you're at it, take that Honda sticker off your car. I'd laugh at it if you didn't seriously think you're fooling people, but instead you make me weep for the future of humanity.
