Spielberg's Taken
A few people submitted asking for an open discussion for Spielberg's Taken miniseries that premiered last night on SciFi
last night. I watched it, and I gotta say I dug it, and set Tivo up to snag the rest of it. I wish that they were spacing it out a bit more (in terms of scheduling, not in terms of leaving the Earth's atmosphere ;) What do folks think?
I think the movie industry would greatly benefit from having the Open Source developer community revise some of the directorial work done by Spielberg. Their astute observations, work ethic and creative would greatly aid the work he made in projects like "Jaws", "E.T." and of course "A.I.". The Open Source developer community could contribute many new special effects based on JPEG-animation, Ogg Vorbis sound quality, and Open Source The Sims acting directives.
Only when we inform the MPAA of the contributions made by the Open Source developer community can we disbang region-encoded DVDs.

Well Taco, I think you have way too much time on your hands. Tivo or not, how do you watch so much tv? And aren't you married now? Go probe your bride and turn off the tube.
