30 Years Since Last Man on the Moon

Honeydipper Dan writes "December 14 marks the 30th anniversary of the last man on the Moon . I haven't noticed any hoopla about this. Perhaps this event raises the subtext of why we haven't been back a little more than the first Moon landing's 30th anniversary did over 3 years ago. The Apollo 17 mission was a great success, however, and deserves to be remembered. It marked the first (and last) time a geologist was on the surface of the Moon. Meanwhile, NASA is commemorating the Wright brothers' flight of December 17, 1903, getting ready for next year's Centennial of Flight."

    As an experienced troll,. I am fed up of stupid moderators modding things a
    'troll' when they are not! Trolls are expertly crafted, works of art and should
    only be used when they truly are a troll!

    The following things are NOT trolls but offtopic rancid wannabe pablum.

    * links to sites like goatse.cx and tubgirl (offtopic)
    * FP (offtopic)
    * Crapfloods like gay sex howtos (that shit is offtopic)
    * Insults (flamebait)
    * Sucks posts (flamebait)

    Mods who moderate stuff like that should be bitchslapped and be forced to use
    GNU/hurd

    Real trolls post legitmate looking posts, and they capture many responses, and
    before people released that they have been trolled they have gone nuts! Usually
    the moderator that catches them out are trolls themselves and they KNOW what a
    finley crafted troll looks like.

    Please respect the hard work of trolls by moderating them properly, and mod
    crap down to offtopic or flamebait! Good trolls are only posted once. Crap like
    'In soviet russia', ??? & profit and "BSD is dying" are -1 redundant!

    Please help make the -1, troll moderation the most valueble and hardest to get
    moderation there is! (Posts at 5 are usually karma whores, and therefore not
    worthy!)
