Erich Schwarz writes "Bioinformatics has gone from being an esoteric sub-field to being a business. The Economist gives a useful overview, while warning 'Bioinformatics is not for the faint of heart...'"

    When I was in school, I took art classes. I becam better, then I fine-tuned my skill aura to cartoon art. I worked at disneyworld in florida for 2 years in a row as a portrait expressionist. Much of my work is done in Photoshop, I didn't jump into the linux scene until I was hired by the Pokemon studios of japan this recent month and a half. As much as it is somewhat offtopic, I must notion that I make money on a whim using inexpensive and easily evailable software. I could move over to a completly-Solaris implementation of computer software, yet that would be the day as only thing that motivates such as switch is a verry wide-spread bug or exploit on Microsoft Windows XP. The economy allows a change to more free software, yet nobody has reason to rattle their shackles and cups on the iron bars.
