    I would choose to be a astronaut if I had it all to do over again. Instead I'm a sad hairy-backed pear-shaped geek who knows nothing more than a 2nd rate OS named linux.

    Most people are into linux because they followed the herd here, they are where they deserve to be. Linux and slashdot both harbor the pathetic cast-offs of people who couldn't make it in real professions like applied math or computational physics. That's OK, someone must administer to the mundane task of keeping webservers working.
