Update To Pavlovich DeCSS case; Stay Lifted

MeanMF writes "Update to this article:Infoworld reports that the Justice O'Connor of the U.S. Supreme Court has lifted the temporary stay on the California Supreme Court's ruling that Pavlovich can not be tried in California courts. That ruling can now take effect. More from the EFF."

#1 you becaome a lawyer NOt because you are smart.. but because daddy had a lot of money. There are a few exceptions but very very VERY few.

#2 - Lawyers are usually some of the stupidest people on the planet. you have to be that stupid to leave your scruples at home, or exercize them from yourself.. or... daddy and his rich bank account beat them out of you at a very early age.

#3 - Finally. if you disagree with anything that I have said. take one simple thing into consideration... Laws are made by lawyers. Judges are lawyers, senators are lawyers (except for the kennedy's they are just drunken idiots with a shitload of money) governors are lawyers. The intentionally write laws so that the common man cannot understand them to ensure a steady stream of business.

There is one simple solution... add a requirement that you cannot be a judge if you ever were a lawyer. Judges must be common folk that have a history of being upstanding citizens... welders, nurses, the fry cook at that burger joint on 3rd and main.

this is the only way to get sanity back into the system and to stop the "boys club" that is our current legal system.
