IBM's OS/2 Strategy for 2003
Landreth writes "OS2World.com reports that IBM has released their OS/2 strategy for 2003. They appear to be pushing the WebSphere Software Platform as well as client and server upgrades to Warp 4. The report can be viewed at IBM's website."
What's better:
a) OS/2 Warp
or
b) Sex with a mare?
I've been wondering for the last few years, who still uses OS/2?
:)
thats funny.. i haven't thought about it at all
Why is the parent modded up? Its clearly -1 Troll.
another south park reference...
yaaay!
The way I remember it, an errant OS/2 process would often take out the entire PM.
And your Windows issue is more of an applicaiton issue than an OS one -- IE and the shell share a lot of state, so one can hose the other. This doesn't affect other apps. (Unless you are talking about 9x, in which case no rules apply.)
I think they're scared by Linux
I don't think so. A company a worked for switched from Linux to QNX on an embedded a/v/mp3/web wireless player for automotive use due to "viral" GPL restrictions (not kidding either).
