Brain Surgery Robot Running Linux
hherb writes "Singapore has developed a robotic brain surgeon. The interesting bit: based on a Linux platform. Well, what else? Who in his right mind would like to have his brain fondled by a MS product?"

I thought slahsdot was for user comments on stories here is a blatant anti microsft story easy to get comments where are they all is anybody there
"Programmers need direct access to the code, and one wants to keep things updated as much as possible - which the OS community provides."
Great. JUST what I want when I am in brainsurgery - the robot doing the surgery is running code written by loads of clueless(*) amatures, instead of one written exclusivly by highly trained and experienced professionals and closely reviewed by their peers.
(*) Clueless about brainsurgery et al, which the vast majority of Linux coders are (as are the vast majority of everybody).
People should not be afraid of their governments - Governments should be afraid of their people.
Yeah! BSOD!! Ha ha! Thats a good one! I sure didn't see that one coming! Your a really wild and funny guy! BSOD heh heh heh... Too funny man just too fsckin funny...
I just heard over the radio that some guy who went by the nickname IWantMoreSpamPlease on Slashdot was found dead in a pile of fiberglass fragments today!!! Details were scetchy, but I will post more as it becomes available.
Many of you may remember IWantMoreSpamPlease from his posts on slashdot about how he was such a superior driver, and had the skills to avoid being killed while driving. There is no doubt he apparently has contributed nothing to society... He will surely not be missed. (at least not by me...
UPDATE:
His skills apparently weren't in tune enough to get out of the way of the sleep deprived drivers of 2 18 wheelers that he had apparently accidentally gotten sandwiched between... Oh well... Another "invincible" driver off the road.
