MonsterHut Jammed for Spam
DeAshcroft writes "Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Lottie E. Wilkins has ordered MonsterHut, its CEO Todd Pelow and CTO Gary Hartl to stop behaving badly. The New York Post has a story on the ruling. The suit, brought by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer in May 2002, alleges that MonsterHut sent over 500 million messages, fraudulently claiming that they were opt-in, and ignored at least 750,000 requests by consumers to be taken off their lists. Newsday also has coverage. The AG has an official release on the case. Penalty hearing is scheduled for Feb 11, 2003."
you forgot "Jabba The Hut" (Strangeled by Leia) and "Pizza The Hut" (Eats Himself)...
"Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true." - Homer Simpson
MonsterHut is not a restaurant, the similarity of names notwithstanding. If you had RTFA, you would know that it's a big name job search site and they were spamming applicants.
Look out. You might get sued like they sued Vladinator. They have your IP and it is easy to find out where you live and who you are.
how long before someone with a fucking clue kicks your sorry well-reamed ass down a flight of stairs and stomps your fucking homo ass into little pieces of shit?
Email is free speech, dumbass.
Eh.. I'm surprised that nobody has done "IN SOVIET RUSSIA... spam jams Monsterhut!"
Ah am not a crook! (\(-__-)/)
"Anyone know of any projects to compile JVM bytecode from other languages?"
The first Google search I tried yielded this page as the first result. It includes a link to Jython -- a reimplementation of the Python programming language which is completely integrated with Java.
A new age of censorship has begun. That faggot censor shitbag michael has a story now that only allows friends of michael to post. They may fix it but it is obviously a new feature. You worthless faggots talk about free speech but it only counts when you are stealing from others or posting porn or something - actual free speech when people say something you don't like doesn't count.
