How long before we see Palestinians dancing and singing in the streets on CNN?

How about, 'never'? Get your countries straight.

Though, I notice you tripped over the ever-so-innocently planted seed word in the CNN story. Nice job. Twitch a synapse or two and let the viewer think they are making their own connections. (Not too tough, thanks to the inch-diameter dots C-freeking-NN provided us with to connect. "Ramon, 48, took part in the 1981 bombing of the nuclear reactor in Iraq." Gee. Thanks guys. What RESPONSIBLE reporting. Not leading in any way. Could they be any more blatant? Jerks.)

But there will be time for all of that garbage later. Right now, one ought to respectfully hold one's hat and wish the innocent and the brave a fond farewell.

    You dumbass.

Linux was running on an embedded computer soley used for communication, not to control any of the systems on board. Such a toy would hardly cause the shuttle to explode into a fireball.

You are the worst kind of fucking troll. Normally, I don't even care about trolls, or the linux zealots on the other side, but now you are using NASA's disaster as feed for your trolling with absolutely no rationalized basis for your argument.

I'm sorry that I misconstrued your intent. While the general population of /. tends to be very pro-space exploration, they also tend to be fairly anti-U.S. gov., particularly when it comes to the DoJ and DoD. I mistook you for one of the anti-DoD'ers.

Many apologies. I'm a bit broken up over this whole thing. I was home sick on Jan 28th, 1986 and watched the Challenger disintegrate live on TV. This whole incident brought those memories back in a flash. Sorry that I rushed to judgement.

...Nevermind the fact that this "civilian" (give me a break!!) country is ruled by an overbearing madman who has used weapons of mass destruction without regret in the past. Disregard the fact that this same dictator kills and/or tortures any opposition sometimes torturing children in front of their parents as well. Forget the fact that he is harboring terrorists and has not provided any evidence of having destroyed his large stockpile of weapons. Ignore the facts and let's just wait and see if he will comply. What's another 12 years anyway? I'm sure he won't sell any weapons to terrorists....

Let's just have America crawl back into a hole and disregard the rest of the world. If there are problems, we will pretend that they don't exist. Look at how well that's worked in the past (WWII ring any bells)?

Bush is a strongly religious man, and it's sad that you can't see past your disagreement and take his words for what they are...
