mcd7756 writes "The IEEE Spectrum magazine has an article about how capacitors made with a stolen formula for the electrolyte are leaking and causing motherboards to fail. Some computer manufacturers are admitting to the problem; others are hiding it."

Fact: UN - not US - has told Iraq to disarm.

Fact: More than reasonable evidence exists that Iraq has failed to disarm and is in breach of the UN resolution.

So, what should be done? Please tell us. Should we admit that Saddam has successfully foiled UN inspections? Should we just let him run his regime of terror and develop nuclear weapons so that we can have another mad tyrant with nukes? One in Asia, one in Middle East. Is that what you want?

I started as an anti-war advocate and as an EU citizen I was (and still am) sceptical about GWB and his administration. However, what's going on in Europe these days isn't just being sceptical anymore. The mob mentality has turned hysterically anti-american. Don't you see that all this anti-americanism and talk about warmongering has been whipped up as a part of the powerplay by the Franco-German axis within EU? They want to be the undisputed leading power in the EU in the future. US bashing is a way to improve their image as strong leading nations as well as to isolate EU countries from US.

USA has bent over backwards to satisfy those who are seeking peaceful solution. They didn't go in alone, they have provided as much evidence as they can and still people are complaining. Much has been said about the true motives being the oil. Well, France has no higher motives either. The reason why France is so anti-war is because of its huge business interests in Iraq and neighbouring countries.

Fact: Saddam isn't nearly the worst tyrant in the world. Much worse things happen in south america.

Fact: The ONLY reason GWB is trying to occupy Iraq is that it has the second largest oil reserves in the world.

Fact: Invading Iraq because of the oil makes all other arab nations more nervous. More ready for another war.

Fact: Fighting fire with fire only creates a greater flame. You can bet that there will be thousands arabs ready to make suicide strikes when the time comes.

Fact: There ISN'T a single case in human history where a despotism had been succesfully converted to democracy. The change MUST come from inside the nation, people CAN'T BE forced to obey someone's rules that they already hate.

Depending on which way the wind is blowing, England, Scotland and Wales will also be badly affected. Like Belarus, which received 70% of the fallout from Chernobyl, Ireland did not ask for this nuclear power base to be built beside us. It's up to us all to try to shut Sellafield down.
