First Free Linux-Based Development Kit for Intel XScale
EmbeddedMan writes "For any potential XScale developers out there, this announcement of a
completely
free development kit for XScale
processors is very interesting. Although I am not using XScale at the moment, I have used the distribution this release will be based on and it is extremely flexible and easy to use. It is good to see that this support will be freely available for everyone
to use."
This could be the boost that helps all the coders out there trying to port Linux to the newer XScale PocketPC devices. All the people wanting to run linux on their new PDA's might have their wish now, and not have to buy the 1 or 2 iPaq devices (ARM) that supported it.
The dumber people think you are, the more surprised they are when you kill them.
That is why I use Linux. It is the best of them all.
