Does this mean that I'll have to check the alignment of the stars, cast voodoo spells, offer hardware to the Satan of Information Technology and donate my soul to the Forcing everybody to GN00 open source Software Foundation before I'll dare to buy the gadget, so that it wouldn't corrupt my ROMs?
