Genetic Mutations Allowed Humans To Be Artistic

genetic mutations resulted in a creativity

vastly improving the human ability to communicate.
Evidence in support of such a theory has been found in the form of FOXP2, a
gene proven to affect the ability of learning and processing language and which in its
mutated form can result in speech and language impediments. Also, the
human FOXP2 differs only slightly from similar genes in chimpanzees, mice
and other animals."

Ok, microevolution is a reality: genes have given different abilities to humans. But what about macroevolution ? it is still not proved that humans are descentants of apes. The differences are huge: humans have more defect genes (around 4000), less chromosomes (46 vs 48), different bone structure, etc. Furthermore, there is still no evidence between mutations from one species to another. I don't know much about biology, but from what I have been reading in the scientific press, there are important links missing and thus not allowing for complete dominance of the evolution theory.
