The Next Level of X-Box Modding
nikitin2k writes "A swedish guy did a really sweet xbox mod. He moved the whole thing into an aluminium chassis, changed the dvd and hdd, installed a mod-chip, wireless lan, leds, switches and Linux. Meet the xXx-box.
The site is in swedish, but the pics speak for themselves. Lots of pictures here." I gotta ask tho, at what point would it have made more sense just to buy a regular computer? The green lighting is a nice touch tho.
it's "though," and you shouldn't use it twice in two sentences because it makes you look like a jack-ass.
gott = gotta
This is another fine example of no proofreading of poor written English by a slashdot "Editor".It's offtopic, yes, but it's pertinent. I assume Taco isn't running Slashdot on a community service basis; get with the fucking program, and show some respect to the people that look at (and click on ) your ads (and subscribers as well), and at least proofread your posts. It's only a minor annoyance with a thread like this, but it's hard to take weightier subjects seriously on slashdot when the topics are full of grammar and spelling errors.

almost everything's gnu now. many are yet unable to feel the refeshing sense of freedom provided by the good gnus, because the 'mainstream' (soon to be DOWnstream) media hasn't mentioned it, YET.
omissions like that, along with the other phonIE scriptdead ?pr? 'news', leave many of US, a little peaced off, AGAIN.
many of US J.'s, again, of course, as usual, are doing an EXCELLENT job of voting with yOUR wallets.

This might be offtopic .. but wouldn't be an improvement to the slashcode if the links could be redirected (wrapped) to a system that could queue the requests (there could be a max limit depending on the remote server's capacity) to the actual link.. this way remote servers wouldn't "die" like this..

So stop reading?
Slashdotted thanks to slashdot? The kids today...
I still have fond memories of the times when slashdotting was caused by her excellence Margaret Hilda Thatcher, prime minister of The United Kindom and the milk of human kindness.
I'm I [sic] going to get modded as redundant for that [sic] [sic] I put up there
If that's not redundant, nothing is.
At first I thought, what is Taco doing? Using 'tho' for though? Just seemed like bad grammar (and no, I'm not a grammar nazi. Hell, i'm the reason they invented grammar and spell checks). Then I checked. Accoriding to the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, 4th Ed., it's a variation on how to spell though. To me, tho just looks stupid.
