Pivot writes "Keith Packard wants to fork the XFree86 effort. 'It has been brought to the attention of the XFree86 Core Team that one of its members, Keith Packard, has been actively (but privately) seeking out support for a fork of XFree86 that would be led by himself. He is also in the process of forming a by-invitation-only group of vested interests to discuss privately concerns he has about XFree86 and the future of X. He has consistently refused to even disclose these concerns within the context of the XFree86 Core Team, which makes his membership of that team unviable. As a consequence, Keith Packard is no longer a member of the XFree86 Core Team.' The XFree86 team is trying to become more open, to combat the fork. Keith is a capable developer, having worked on FontConfig, Xft, the X render extension etc. Meanwhile, All is not good in how XFree86 drivers are being developed. Anyone remember the GGI initiative a few years back, and the uproar it caused?"

I will first address the issue of United State's stand against Iraq. George W. Bush is leading our nation on its way towards a battle. On this path, we have already been engaged in a spiritual battle. The Left, Europe and most UN members have not supported this stand against Iraq from day one. However, the stand against Iraq is two-fold. God wants to protect Israel until such a time as he is ready for the true end-times events to unfold. Iraq has again become a dangerous nations with large quantifies of weapons of mass destruction (Anthrax, Sarin, Mustard gas, Small Pox) and also within a few hundred pounds of enriched uranium from becoming a nuclear power. God is using the United States as a means of keeping Israel protected from the demonic forces in control of Iraq and its goal of total annihilation of Israel. At the same time, George W. Bush is attempting to protect the United States from possible terror attacks with weapons of mass destruction that could be provided by Saddam Hussein. In fact, the United States may be lead by one goal, but GOD's goal may in fact also use the United States. The devil and his demonic forces know the true intent of this war and thus, are making all attempts to counter is through whatever means possible. These means include the use of the UN, Germany, North Korea, Iran, Mexico, France, Al Quaeda, the Hezbollah, Syria, the Hollywood elite, most American Media (except FOX) and the Left in America. Many are against the United States on the coming war, but rest assured, Israel stands with the United States as Israel is the most likely nation to be affected by Saddam Hussein and his cache of weapons of mass destruction. As we march towards the war, God will be pleased at the U.S. stand to protect Israel, but this is just one stone of many to burden America in the coming months and the next few years. And, GOD may still lift his hand of protection against the United States for reasons only known to GOD as he did on 9-11 as many in the United States have not come back to GOD as was hoped with the display of that dreadful day. How quickly many have forgot the destruction laid against America from a group centered in Afghanistan who lived in shacks. Think of the destruction that could be placed against American with a well-planned attack from several nations wishing to destroy America through weapons of mass destruction.
If the Iraqi war goes quick and victory is certain for America without the involvement of other nations (Syria, Iran, North Korea, and China) and with Israel staying on the side, then new events will have to be dealt with.
Iran has just been found to have a uranium enrichment plant ready for production to build her own nukes. Iran, a true member of the axis of evil, has sworn to the destruction of a nation she does not even recognize, Israel. Several well-placed nuclear weapons could destroy Israel's ability to survive and protect herself. Iran must be dealt with and what better opportunity than when 300,000 American troops are next door in Iraq. Again, GOD could use the United States, especially, if he is not ready for Israel's sudden dire position to other nations in the region that wish her destruction.
North Korea, again a true member of the axis of evil, has the means to supply area MiddleEast nations that have the cash with the means to destroy Israel and North Korea has shown no favoritism towards whom she supplies missiles and nuclear technology to. Bush may be forced to deal with this nation at the same time as the Iraqi war at which time we will all be reviewing biblical passages. However, if North Korea stays put, the United States may be used to again quash efforts that could lead to the demise of Israel.
Another issue to deal with is how Iraq will be rebuilt after the war. There are many if and or buts. Only GOD knows the plan, but much can be surmised about how Iraq is rebuilt. If it is an easy war, then Iraq could be used by the United States as a means of quick cheap oil. But, the longer that the United States maintains a se
