State of the E-nion
An anonymous reader writes: "Carsten Haitzler (The Rasterman) has posted a "state of the union" for the enlightenment project on their mailing list. It has been over 2 years since the last major release of the Enlightenment window manager. It looks like 0.17 is a ways off but it's nice to see an update."
It was obvious that the fp would contain "...blabla KDE blablabla...". I ask you something. Maybe the main feature is that it isn't bloated as KDE and Gnome and looks still good?! Or is it just an unwanted interefence in these neverending my-desktop-is-my-dick discussions?
Could someone remind what Enlightenment is? Could you refresh my memory? It's that window manager right? It's that buggy one that written by 45 year old virgins, is slow as shit, buggy as hell, and isn't worth two shits? Oh who am I kidding that pretty much sums up every unix window manger. If you want a real OS get Windows XP
Windows continues to rule the world, and here is yet another linux turd that can't even do what windows did last century, and all the unwashed goateed tubbies(UGTs) are rubbing one out as they read about it.
And the best thing is that the UGTs have been conned into paying $60 twice a year for Linux distros, as opposed to paying $100 every 3 years for a Windows release that actually works
Linux: 10 years of being 5 years behind Windows
you'll never get to do:

That's how E17 will perform! It will BLOW UP all the other window managers away from this planet! RASTERMAN is a hero! E17 team is ELITE! Thank you!
Once again, Open Sores shows its true superiority! Open Sores doesn't need things like "development schedules" or "stable code" -- not when it has the powers of "blind zealotry" and "half-assed hobbyists" behind it!
Bow, you miserable worms, when you understand just how wonderful you can make your window manager with only a few months of grueling, concerted, frustrating effort! Not for we zealots the ease of, say, purchasing a legal copy of Microsoft Windows XP Professional; nay, that would be far to easy! Besides, those evil Micro$haft Winblows (note my clever and original twist on Microsoft's name and how it makes me look even more reasonable) developers probably have to do things like quality-test their code, or even <gasp> make it easy to install! If it was hard for some dumbass to cobble together from plagiarized scraps of C, it should be hard to install, damn it!
In conclusion, I'd just like to point out that you're all fags, and I've wasted the time it took you to read this. Have fun wanking in your parents' basement, Open Sores fanatics!
