Paypal Charged Under PATRIOT Act
A reader writes: "Yahoo has the story: Paypal has been charged under the PATRIOT act for accepting and profiting from transactions with illegal gambling sites. According to their new rules they will no longer allow gambling payments due to the higher chargeback risk. It's good to see them charged for something, even if they have never had to atone for the thousands of customer dollars they have stolen." I know of a number people who've had problems, but I will say that I've had no problems with PayPal - on both my personal account and on the Subscription side of things.

I just heard some sad news on talk radio: famed fat slob/gangsta rapper Michael Moore 54, was found dead at his Santa Monica home. The cause of death was due to morbid obesity. Even if you did not enjoy his work there is no denying his contribution to the hard core gangsta rap culture. Truly an American icon!

You might want to read up a little on the success rate. Here it says in Desert Storm they had a 70% success in Saudi Arabia and 40% in Isreal.
Here the us army seems to think that the new version seems to work. They also seem to think it works well here too.
The patriot missile is not some pie in the sky dream. It does work. It may not necessarily be 100%, but 40-70% is better and 0%.
I don't know the tech that goes into something like this for sure, but I'd imagine that it could also be used for something like meteors.

Just has the historic Meigs airport bulldozed in the middle of the night, without warning, using chicago cops as security thugs to prevent airplane owners who had their private aircraft parked there, unable to access their private aircraft and leave before he bulldozed the runway. Several businesses who were based there are also now unable to conduct business anymore without warning, without notice, without due process of law. His armed thugs would not even permit federal FAA employees from entering the airport to do their jobs.
Daly intends to build a gambling casino where the airport, a national historic treasure, and an important part of America's aviation heritage, now sits closed.
He did this dastardly deed in the middle of the night becuase he knew it was wrong.
