Technical Review for Red Hat Linux 9
ewilts writes "Dax Kelson from Guru Labs has posted a technical review for Red Hat Linux 9. It's a definite read if you want to get away from the marketing fluff that focuses on eye-candy and instead read about the release from a sysadmin's point-of-view."
This is the worst review I have read yet of the new Linux distributions coming out. It talks about features that WEREN'T EVEN INCLUDED IN THE RELEASE, such as ACPI and a graphical boot screen.
Shit Windows XP would even get a great review on Slashdot if you included non-existent features.
There is no doubt now, at least for those who wish to use Linux for more than just a server, that Mandrake and Suse are clearly better. I'm wondering if Mandrake's bankruptcy filing gave some of their developers a good kick in the ass or something, because they did some great work with this release.
