Acadia Streaming Patent Contested

Anonymous Coward writes "Since last year Acadia Research has sent hundreds of letters to various porn web sites to arrange royalty deals, picking on the small fry before trying to take on well-heeled companies such as Disney. However, many small fries refused, and now 40 firms have joined forces and are embroiled in a suit with Acadia. Fish & Richardson (a prominent intellectual property law firm) have taken their case. The best part? CEO Paul Ryan's obvious sour-grapes-syndrome, he goes from describing the web porn industry as a "billion-dollar industry" where the money is to a "sideshow" that's "maybe 1% of our potential revenues". Check it out here"

...and just like the indians we'll run out of "real" troops to kill, but still not win the war. Then we'll have to fight "terrorism" by the women and children as we squeeze the country harder and harder to "recover" what it cost us to "liberate" them!

You can't fight an Arab war without becoming a monster yourself. It's the nature of the beast, look at 5000 years of recorded history to back it up! Even the brits were cruel and hated during their reign only 50 years ago. We're well on our way to becomming the next Rome--untill China/India decides to whip up on us and complete the circle around the world!

Even better was "Forbes America," where he buys Russia, and uses orbital lasers to carve it into the shape of America, to fulfill his dream of a flat tax USA. Also, everyone gets a pony.
