Agreed. What happenes when you get all the people you know to knock on the door of some random person's house for whatever reason (lets say, he has a "nice car"). The guy who lives there says "Go away", and even posts a sign on his lawn to that effect, and yet still you are encouraging people to go to his house and harrass him. Doing that would not be legal, and you could be ticketed, fined, or jailed for distiurbing the peace (I am sure there are other laws that could apply to this situation as well).
Of course, its not illegal for a few people to go to his house, but when you encourage people to go in masse, even after that person says "Go away! I dont want anyone here!" is wrong.
What a bunch of whiney little fuzzie bunnies! I can understand if there server can only do so much bandwidth, but sheesh, don't blame Slashdot for shining a light on your nice little site. If you do not want people linking to your site, do not put it on the Internet!
