A reader writes:"Dan Gillmor has just published a column on his weblog about creating a collaborative book with his readers. The outline/full details are on his page - O'Reilly will be publishing the book." Dan and I spoke briefly about this - it's semisimilar to what Slashdot did with Jane's Intelligence Review - which turned out well.

    I just heard watched a live report on CNN. A statue of Saddam Hussein (D-Baghdad) in central Baghdad has been torn down by Iraqi civilians and American soldiers. Saddam's head was last seen being dragged through the streets of Baghead, ridden by jubilant Iraqis. Even if you are a whiny eurotash America hater, there was no denying his murderous exploits. Truly an (honorary) French icon.

      I favor a strong French role in post-war Iraq. Their companies can be given contracts to clean the 101st Airbourne's latrines.

    An actual banner I saw on CNN being carried by some Iraqis in Bagdad. It looks like the HUMANSHIELDS part was originally printed on the banner (perhaps part of a domain name? Maybe that's why it's one word.) The remaining words were spray painted on.

    Why don't you post the fact that as Baghdad falls and Saddam staues fall, Iraqi citizen's are dancing in the streets?

    I know it is a sad day for all you Linux Losers, Euro-Trash appeasers and Peace Protester assholes. Iraq is liberated, Bush is vindicated ant US/UK took very few casualities. I know all you liberal fags secretly wished the impossible dream that Iraq would win, Sddam would be a hero and the Americans would have thousands killed.
    Sorry guys, but we kicked ass without your useless help. It must suck being from an insignificant worthless Euro-Trash country. You are all Neville Chamberlain clones-spineless cowardly appeasers. Well you all are the ones who look so stupid now that Iraqis are hailing US/UK forces as liberating heroes. They are literally dancing in the street with their new found freedom.
    How does it feel to be so terribly wrong? To be a damn coward? To having to look yourself in the mirror knowing that you are a pathetic excuse for a human being?
