The Science of the Matrix

KamehamehaWarrior writes "Peter B. Lloyd, author of Taking The Red Pill: Science, Philosophy, and Religion in The Matrix, believes that many of the plot developments in "The Matrix" that seem to contradict the laws of physics, biology, etc. can actually be explained with a closer look at the science. He addresses issues such as "Can humans really be an energy source? How does the Matrix know what fried chicken taste like? Why do the rebels have to enter and exit the Matrix via a telephone system (that doesn't actually exist)?""

This is the same thing as blueprints of Star Trek ships. Some King of the Geeks with entirely too much time on his hands makes up a bunch of shit to back up the movie. Note to geeks: it's a fucking movie. It's a Hollywood movie, no less. It's a fucking Hollywood Keaneau Reeves movie!! Get a fucking grip. There is no Matrix. There is no USS Enterprise. Grow the fuck up. Or, even better, if this guys really can't tell the difference between reality and a movie, he needs to be institutionalized and receive serious medical attention.

Since I saw some comments on "Matrix 4", I figured that I would come out of the closet a bit.

First; the CIA got involved with my mind with a signal after about 6 traffic safety laws that I broke in 1 night. I was transferred into a safe area called "the grid", which is basically where intelligence agencies aka "the feds" don't know about you at all.
My name is Amy, and on www.matrix4.net I represent "Fame". If only I could get ahold of shampoo. :( -- i was told his name was shampoi, almost french.

Amy - lost in the grid, aka "matrix 4" as kevin/shampoo and I now I guess should call it.

While doing immense work creating the most widely used artificial intelligence human management program in the world on IRC (eggdrop of course), we were often presented with dealings by what in the beginning we thought was the Central Intelligence Agency. We later found out that it was impossible for them to be doing all that they were doing with a satellite - ie: it would never run out of power.

I got acquainted with a mr. shampoi and I was able to speak with various people. With no disbelief Matrix 4 is not the "high command of the CIA" that I thought it was, but rather a peaceful citizen network. hmm. matrix4.net is well worth the read.
I think someone spoofed shampoo that is beyond Earth and not on Earth. But as all ideas, mine may not be what is correct.
