The Two Towers DVD Release Dates
FortKnox writes "Mark these dates on your Calendar: 8/26/03 & 11/18/03. These are the (US) DVD release dates for The Two Towers. Like Fellowship, the first date is the release of the DVD, and the November date is the release of the special edition (with rumored extra 48 minutes of footage). haha at my school a group of kids took a trip to new york and some guys mom got conned into buying a pirated hk dvd for full price. now she is making copies on her computer and giving them to any kid who asks.
wait, so you download movies for free, not paying a dime to studios and people who make a. living making the movie, and you call them leeches?
you void their copyright protection, a right we all benefit from if we produce something orginal, and you say they are violating our freedoms?
you attack those willing to pay for quality DVD with all the extras which offers the incentive for them to make movies to begin with rather than DL a crappy rip off some 12 year old pc?
im no big fan of Hollywood or recording biz, but lets call the it what it is, your stealing. I do it too. But at least im honest about what it is i do, none of this lets fight the power crap, STEAL.
Im sorry, itf we all did what you suggest thuer simply wouldnt be any profit in making a movie. Grow up. why is everyone on slashdot a have the wisdom of afucking 12 year old communist?
Case in point: 1 year ago, I saw this guy on Jackson Street asking for money to buy some food. He said he was starving. I walked into a restaurant and bought him an egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich with hash browns and an orange juice. I gave it to him and he grudgingly said thank you. I walked by that spot 8 hours later and guess what I saw on the ground? An egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich with one bite out of it with hash browns strewn all over the sidewalk and a dumped over orange juice. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I quit. I give money to organized charities and people who REALLY need something will go to those charities for help. Someone on the street screaming that he's poor is just toying with your emotions most likely. You should tell your sister's boyfriend to not take that to heart in my opinion because he was probably being played. That's what you learn living in a big city anyway.
