If that happens, they say, the Internet could evolve into a cable-TV-like system, where providers of high-speed Internet access could steer subscribers toward affiliated Internet sites. The users are learning.
They are learning that a 'patch' may also contain news holes, spyware, and possibly break their existing apps.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
