No One Lives Forever 2 Toolkit Out Now
Guy Welch writes "Sierra and Monolith have just released the No One Lives Forever 2 toolkit, including the complete editing tools and source code. This toolkit allows users to create mods and all sorts of other changes to this first person spy shooter." Coming mere months from the original release date, this is good news for mod authors and creators who want to tinker with a slightly different flavor of FPS.
Cool! I've always wanted to see Aliens vs Preditor vs NOLF!
Seriously though, monolith makes most of its money licencing out the engine they developed for Shogo. I'm even more excited because if they're giving tools this powerful away for free, they must have something even better for the next crop of games.
Look out Unreal Warfare, the big kids are coming to town!
I'm glad they didn't charge you guys the same as they did in the US (I paid $50US the day it came out). Although I loved the game and the improvements (ala skill points, hiding, not so stealth dependant and OH those beautiful graphics) from NOLF, I really thought the game was weak on script when compared to the first one.
... urg.
Also a little daunting was the 2gb space needed for install
Still! It's a fun game. Love that trailer park scene!
Why do I M2 everything negatively?
