Sony's Memory Stick TV Tuner at CeBit

ChowderGiggler writes "It seems like simply a picture, but there is a page at PocketPCMinds.com which shows a prototype Sony Memory Stick TV Tuner. This really has some cool applications especially if it gets ported to the Memory Stick Duo which is used in Smartphones like the Sony-Ericsson P800."

    I just read some sad news on www.Kuro5hin.org - "News for Nerds" website and anti-Capitalist hotbed Slashdot.com was found dead in Rob "CmdrTaco" Malda's mother's basement/server room in Holland, Michigan. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Euro-trash community will miss it - even if you didn't agree with the anti-Microsoft, ultra-liberal leanings of the site, there's no denying its contributions to shower-avoiding, hippy-Geek culture. Truly an anti-American icon.

    Since most of the sites linked in articles end up slashdotted, forcing people to go to mirrors, why not skip the original sites altogether and link right to the mirrors?

    the portable turbografx 16 unit was called the turbo express (as opposed to gameXPress). i remember it being loads better than the game gear counterpart because of the superior activematrix screen. people were buying these things just as portable televisions. the side capability that the turbo express had to run games was just gravy. oh and the tv tuner was the turbovision.
