viewstyle writes "eweek is reporting that Transmeta's Crusoe chip has been approved by Microsoft for use in the Mira smart displays -- a move that further edges out AMD and Intel from the mobile processor marketplace."

    I don't understand the need to remove the ability for logged-in users to post anonymously. What is it really solving here? Trolls will migrate elsewhere to post their drivel. If someone could be kind enough to elaborate as to why this functionality has been removed, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

      Before you know it, this site will become exclusive to subscribers. Maybe they will implement some kind of pay-per-article scheme. Then, Slashdot will be officially in the shitter (as if it wasn't already).
