    As stated below, in the UK they drive on the left, so have the steering wheel on the right. Continental Europe drive on the left though, but Japan drives on the right also.

    Because some of us are British and not as dumb as you obviously are. THe car is British. It is a over 400 series. I own one. See the logo on the carmat and the steering wheel? It's a Viking Ship, the logo of the BRITISH Rover Group.
